Orient is East-Asian art made for a modern wall, without turning it into a theme. The collection moves between three traditions. Ink wash: a waterfall in a bamboo grove, done with the restraint the form demands — mostly empty paper, and the emptiness doing the work. Chinoiserie: blue-and-white porcelain patterns and hand-painted floral panels in the Ming manner. And the auspicious, festive register — a rooster in red and gold, a dragon with all its ceremony intact. Ink-wash pieces suit a quiet room: a study, a hallway, anywhere you want the walls to breathe. The porcelain patterns are the versatile ones — they sit happily beside plain modern furniture. Several designs also run as phone cases. Everything is printed to order.
